Textiles in restaurants, bars or hotels not only have to fulfil numerous functions, they have to exude a pleasantly cosy atmosphere and reflect the identity of the establishment as well. Besides offering a wide choice of curtain and furnishing fabrics in numerous colours and materials, Création Baumann’s range also features fabrics with special functions such as blackout or sound absorption properties.
Création Baumann wants its new Living Line collection “Silent Garden” to trigger associations with idyllic gardens and hidden oases of calm. It is meant to evoke magnificent blooms and beguiling fragrances, a romantic little piece of nature in the midst of our everyday urban lives. The eleven designs in the collection are intended to create a playful, romantic effect and bear an emotive hallmark.
They can be used as screening, anti-glare protection or just for decoration. They adorn mirrors or windows and cast striking shadows on floors or walls – the self-adhesive Gecko in the Box textiles from Création Baumann. The decorative elements are simply stuck onto glass surfaces, no glue required. The uv-proof textiles stay in place thanks to an adhesive coating on the back: the gravitational pull of the molecules between the two materials provides sufficient traction.
For more than 125 years, Création Baumann has been producing high-quality textiles for interior decoration in Langenthal (Switzerland). Whether it’s decorative fabrics, systems for interior solar shading or self-adhesive textiles: the company’s range of products for the home and office covers a broad spectrum of colours, patterns and materials – but also includes systems and textiles with special functions such as light control or sound absorption.
